Bragg Jam is holding a press conference Monday, August 31, 2009 at Cox Capital Theatre. At 11:30am, they will present the proceeds from July’s Bragg Jam to the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, Cox Capital Theatre and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame M.I.K.E. program. Downtown was busy this past Saturday night. Drivin’ ‘n Cryin’ was at the Cox, the American Cancer Society Benefit was in the smoked filled Hummingbird (the only place I’ve ever had to leave because there was too much smoke and not enough ventilation) and Floco Torres and Al K!ng were at Envy with friends (which just so happens to be smoke free).
